Chelsea P. Manders is a novelty...

musician/actor/writer/comedian.  She likes to jump, run, and play. She likes politics and impersonating the Giant Tree Sloth of the Pleistocene Period.  She writes a lot.  Most often on restaurant napkins.  But sometimes on beer coasters or small Russian children.

She performed for 3 years with the comedic folk duo, The Black Roses, with Hayley Gratto.  It was a lot of fun and they did fab things like the Canadian Comedy Awards, The Comedy Network, CBC Radio & Television, CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Toronto International Sketch Comedy Festival, Newfoundland/Labrador Tour, Fringe Festival Tour (Toronto/Montreal/London) a recording with National Lampoon, and they were honored to be nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award (best up-and-coming Toronto comedian).  They wrote a musical with a grant from the Grand Theatre (London, ON), The Rose Garden Party: A Comedic Fairy Tale Musical.  Hayley and Chelsea still hold weekly book club meetings where they discuss Harlequin Romance novels.

Chelsea resides in Toronto where she often gossips about Paris Hilton with inanimate objects or corporate art.  She is a graduate of Ryerson Theatre School (Toronto) and has studied at the British American Drama Academy (Oxford) and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Cardiff). Chelsea considers herself a geriatric.

This summer Chelsea will be touring her one woman show “Naughty Little Children” across Canada. Check in to: www.chelseapmanders.com for all the updates!!!
